Christmas time is a lovely time of year. It is a time to spend time with our families and friends and reflect on how fortunate we are.
However, not everybody has the same privileges, so at Kenny Waste Management we like to make our contribution to those less fortunate than us, and help put a smile on a face of a child, with something exciting to open on Christmas Day.
This year, we teamed up with Mustard Tree to help distribute our presents. Mustard Tree helps people to change their lives, through helping them find accommodation or support them to get a better economic wellbeing. They focus on the causes of poverty and homelessness and have been doing this for over 25 years now throughout Greater Manchester.
On receiving our donations, Jacquie Booth, Salford Freedom Team Leader said, “Paul and the Kenny Waste Management team, I would like to pass on a huge thank you from all the local families who visited The Hub on the 23rd December for our Food Club. They believed Santa had come early! You certainly made some local children very happy this Christmas – the picture on their faces was priceless”
At Kenny Waste Management we continue to commit to supporting our local community and are developing our own Social Enterprise Driving Change even more throughout 2020, helping give people an opportunity in life that they may well not have received otherwise.
We would like to wish everybody a prosperous 2020, and hope that you have a success year in whatever you set out to achieve.
