When Farnworth SCCC approached us for our support, we were only too happy to help.
Through our Social Enterprise Programme, Driving Change, we will consider supporting projects that help give back to the community.
With two employees of ours being key members of the first team at Farnworth SCCC, we also had the interest to help them get the most from the recreational activity they love, whilst helping the club.
The cricket club were carrying our some essential maintenance and asked us to help with the removal of the waste. We spoke with the committee and also agreed to provide them with a new club sign, where we could also promote our services to the community. We also have put in place a wheelie bin solution to improve their environment for the waste management at the cricket club, and we are looking to plan a company fun day at the cricket club next summer.
All we need now is for Richard, Ryan and the team to keep winning on the pitch and the future relationship between Kenny Waste Management and Farnworth SCCC looks a rosy one.
