At Kenny Waste Management, we understand that some people who face personal challenges are determined to make positive choices and change their own lives. We want to enable people to do this. That’s why we set up our own Social Enterprise, Driving Change, which aims to empower organisations to offer long-term jobs, training, and qualifications to the most disadvantaged.
We’ve been part of the Salford community for over 35 years, so we are delighted to announce our new partnership with Salford Foundation.
For more than three decades, Salford Foundation have been providing fantastic opportunities that help people realise their full potential. Their inclusive range of projects routinely change the lives of young people and adults by empowering them to succeed. We’re excited to take on board their insights on key social issues affecting our local community, which will transform our perspective.
Led by our passion to make Driving Change really impactful, we’ll be collaborating with Salford Foundation’s project, The Shed, to provide employment referrals and exciting new training opportunities.
We want to ensure that our partnership produces long-lasting change, so the Salford Foundation team will be working with us closely to refine our policies to reflect best practice. They’ll also be providing us with training on the key social issues.
We’re committed to investing in our people and our community. By making sure what we do works right now and in the long-term, Salford Foundation will help Driving Change make another vital connection between us and our community, deepening our understanding on how what we do makes a real difference.
