Due to an exciting period of growth, Kenny Waste Management are looking to hire a Key Account Advisor. We are looking for candidates who are friendly, great administrators and excellent at building rapport with customers. This is an ideal role for anyone with at least 2 years of customer service / account management experience, within an office environment or ideally in a high-volume call centre, who wants to work for a growing company in a fast-paced environment.
This is an office-based, inhouse role, with the occasional off-site meeting. You will be responsible for receiving, processing and responding to key customers daily queries in a professional and timely manner in a fast-paced team providing the service our customers expect.
Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for managing the key customers as determined by the Company at any time. As Key Account Advisor you will deal with quoting requests and issues in line with company KPI’s and to meet the customer’s needs. You will also be managing day-to-day running of customer sites, including resolving any issues on site, and also receiving, processing and responding to customers daily queries and requirements in a professional and timely manner.
This role requires you to work independently at times but mainly as part of the wider Customer Services Team and report directly to the Customer Services Manager, keeping them informed of everything that you are working on.
Principal Job Duties:
- Ensure all quote requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner in line with our Sales Process.
- One off Skip enquiries Target to Turn around pricing in 1 hour.
- Obtain Prices from third parties in line with our sales process
- Work closely with Supply Chain on larger projects
- Input and maintain up-to-date customer information on the CRM systems
- Official quote to be sent for all new skips and logged on the CRM systems
- Communicate efficiently, politely, and clearly with customers, waste partners and colleagues both verbally and in writing over the telephone and via email
- Process customers’ requests by raising and sending purchase orders to existing waste partners whilst ensuring that current customer pricing structures are adhered to, and that the percentage gross profit is equal to or above the specified minimum
- Input and maintain up-to-date customer information on the CRM systems
- Assist the Call Handlers during high demand periods or due to absence or holidays
- Any other duties deemed appropriate for your role by the management team.
EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- Previous experience of working as part of a team in a customer service environment
Desirable:
- Good understanding of Waste Logics and HubSpot
SKILLS
Essential:
- Competent IT skills
- Ability to understand and interpret information/problems and respond accordingly
- Ability to provide a clear explanation of day to day issues in a direct manner both verbally and in writing whilst being able to deliver both good and bad news.
- To be supportive of others both in the immediate team and wider Company whilst being happy to take additional work in busy periods
- Be able to work methodically and accurately with a strong attention to detail
- Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
- Understand the need for excellent customer service and be able to provide it
- Appreciate the diverse requirements of different types of customers
- To be able to quickly learn KWM’s product and service offerings, and provide the best solutions for the customers’ requirements

Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
