Kenny Waste Management is pleased to announce a new partnership with housing management company Wolverhampton Homes.
With over 22,000 homes under their management, the company is responsible for the majority of the council homes in Wolverhampton.
Since its foundation in 2005, Wolverhampton Homes has been helping to provide good quality homes and great housing services for its customers.
Throughout the duration of our partnership, Wolverhampton Homes’ employees will have a dedicated point of contact to Kenny Waste Management. This will ensure consistency and the smooth running of various projects whilst working together. As well as this, Wolverhampton Homes will have access to an online database to view their waste reports, allowing for performance figures and recycling rates to be regularly reviewed. This transparency will be beneficial when meeting sustainability targets as all waste figures will be readily available to employees. As a business, Kenny Waste Management is dedicated to carbon reduction and being a responsible business. Therefore, any opportunity to help our customers with their own sustainability goals is extremely welcomed.
One way that we show our commitment to being a responsible business is through our social enterprise ‘Driving Change.’ Driving Change was set up in 2018 to strategically address the inequalities that exist for those that are furthest from meaningful employment. We initially set ourselves a target of employing 20 people through the scheme and we are very proud to have achieved this last year.
Led by our values of inclusion, trust, and growth, we will continue to enhance the long-term employment prospects of disadvantaged people within society.

As well as the provision of an efficient and economical skip service, Kenny Waste Management will also be giving Wolverhampton Homes the ability to tip waste from their own vehicles into first-class waste processing facilities. With this service being available to our customers six days a week, we ensure that our clients needs can be conveniently catered for within a time period that suits them.
In addition to this, we will also facilitate the removal of any hazardous waste items from site. These items include, but are not limited to, fridge-freezers, car batteries and electrical goods. Our ADR-trained drivers will safely remove the materials and transport it to our site, where we’ll then separate and correctly dispose of the waste. We will also provide Wolverhampton Homes with all the required legal documentation so that the company can easily demonstrate that their hazardous waste duty of care has been met.
Kenny Waste Management’s Sales Director, Karen Hampton, who will be directing Wolverhampton Homes’ account, commented that she was ‘’very excited to have the opportunity to work with a sustainable and efficiently managed company such as Wolverhampton Homes. Due to our continuous development, Kenny Waste Management is able to offer a range of services in many areas, and this is something that we are looking forward to doing as we embark on a new contract with an exciting customer.’’
Everyone at Kenny Waste Management is delighted to be working in partnership with Wolverhampton Homes and we can’t wait to begin the new contract.
